Regulatory mapping
This plugin is a defensive compliance layer. It helps you satisfy the transparency obligations in Article 50 of the EU AI Act and provides a record-keeping surface aligned with Article 12.
| Article | Obligation | What this plugin does |
|---|---|---|
| 50(1) | Users must be informed when interacting with an AI system | Chatbot disclosure toast |
| 50(2) | Deepfakes and synthetic media must be disclosed | C2PA verification badge |
| 50(3) | Biometric categorisation must be disclosed before activation | Biometric notice |
| 50(4) | AI-generated text of public interest must be disclosed | Content badge + meta + schema.org |
| 12 | Record-keeping | Hash-chained event log, exportable audit bundle |

What this plugin does not do
- Risk classification of your own AI systems
- Article 9 risk management
- Article 13 technical documentation for high-risk providers
- Anything required by the AI Liability Directive
If you build or deploy high-risk AI systems you need additional controls and, frankly, a lawyer.
